Crafting the Perfect DFS Fantasy Football lineup Week 10

4 min read

Drew Brees: ($6,700DK, $8,300FD)

Papa Brees is fully back from his injury and will find himself against the 30th ranked Atlanta Falcons defense at home in an early Sunday match-up. According to Drew Brees has the highest value at QB with a projected 3.8 point/dollar value. As always, the only real threat to Drew Brees production is Taysom Hill getting goal line work.

Drew Brees is projected to be rostered in 31.1% of all DFS lineups.

Ryan Tannehill: ($5,100DK, $7,200FD)

One of the more surprising story lines this year is Ryan Tannehill taking over the offense in Tennessee. Tannehill is the type of quarterback I’d only play in very good match ups and against a the Chiefs, that is exactly what he will get. Expect the Titans to have to throw often to keep up with the high powered Chiefs offense. The Chiefs are 23rd in the NFL to opposing quarterbacks.

Ryan Tannehill is projected to be rostered in 2.2% of all DFS lineups.

Running Back

David Montgomery: ($5,300DK, $6,400FD)

Volume and fantastic match up, recipe to success in DFS. David Montgomery has got a massive 48 touches over the last two games and finds himself this week against the Detroit Lions, the league worst team against running backs in fantasy. The Lions are allowing 1.00 PPR point per opportunity (carries and touches), ranked second-highest in the NFL.

David Montgomery is projected to be rostered in 24.3% of all DFS lineups.

Devin Singletary: ($4,300DK, $6,700FD)

It’s finally Singletary season in Buffalo, it was never a question of who the lead back was, it was only a question of when Singletary was ready. He outpaced Frank Gore heavily in both snaps and touches last week. Singletary is a dual-threat back and will be used as such in Buffalo’s offense. He will take on the 23rd ranked Browns defense in what should be a close game.

Devin Singletary is projected to be rostered in 14.3% of all DFS lineups.

Wide Receiver

Michael Thomas: ($8,300DK, $8,700FD)

We talk about chalk in DFS, a common play that owners are going with. Well, Michael Thomas this week is in by far more lineups than I have ever seen. A golden match-up against the 30th ranked Falcons defense, at home, with Brees under center makes Michael Thomas a must play. Thomas is the only player to score 15+ PPR points in every game this season.

Michael Thomas is projected to be rostered in 72.4% of all DFS lineups.

Christian Kirk: ($5,200DK, $5,700FD)

In fantasy football, it’s important to chase opportunity. Just because Christian Kirk doesn’t have any touchdowns, doesn’t mean they aren’t on the way. Kirk has seen at least five targets in every game, with 11+ targets in three of those games. Volume is there, production will follow. Kirk is on the road this week, however, he draws the 31st ranked Tampa Bay defense.

Christian Kirk is projected to be rostered in 15.9% of all DFS lineups.

Tight End

Mike Gesicki: ($3,100DK, $5,300FD)

Could now finally be the time for Gesicki to take over? Wildly considered one of the best pass catching prospects at the tight end position, Gesicki has not had it easy in the NFL so far, benched due to not being able to block for most of his career so far. The Dolphins may have finally realized that even though his blocking isn’t the best, he’s way too impactful down field to not play. Gesicki takes on the 23rd ranked Colts defense this week after catching all six of his targets last week for 95 yards.

Mike Gesicki is projected to be rostered in 10.7% of all DFS lineups.

Dawson Knox: ($2,800DK, $4,500FD)

Dawson Knox has been very up and down with the Bills this season, only catching two balls last week for 14 yards. However, he will find himself against the 26th ranked Browns defense. A lot of experts are predicting Knox to have a big week and it looks like nobody in DFS will be starting him in lineups. Perfect player to take a chance on.

Dawson Knox is projected to be rostered in an undetermined % of all DFS lineups.

Defense/Special Teams

Buffalo Bills: ($2,900DK, $4,500FD)

Buffalo allowed only 9 points last week to the Redskins offense and they will be playing a Browns offense that isn’t much better. The Bills have one of the best defenses in the NFL and will look to shutdown Baker Mayfield on the road. The Browns have been allowing sacks and throwing up turnovers all season long.

Buffalo is projected to be rostered in 11.9% of all DFS lineups.
