Week 13 Dynasty Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets

3 min read

Ryan “FitzMagic” Fitzpatrick, MIA, QB: Less Than 11% Owned

Waiver Wire Priority: Low
FAAB Budget Recommendation: 5%

With a QB heavy waiver piece, the first QB that should be in your sights is Fitzmagic. Since week 7, he has been startable with respectable numbers. He has a favorable rest of season schedule and it can’t hurt you to pick him up. In 2QB, there’s no doubt he’s gone. With the playoffs in sight, you need to grab him. Your QB could go down, your opponent’s could, or he might just be worth playing over who you have now. Either way, because of his game he just had against Cleveland, he may cause some to jump. Spend wisely but don’t over spend.

Andy Dalton, CIN, QB: Less than 8% Owned

Waiver Wire Priority: Low
FAAB Budget Recommendation: 0%

With news that Ryan Finley is going back to the bench, Dalton is another worthy bench filler for the same reasons mentioned above. Regardless of real life NFL worth, he had over 20 point games in 3 of his last 4 games before being benched before the bye. His team will be down a lot and he’ll be forced to sling it. You definitely need to play the match-ups with him because he gets New England in week 15 but Miami in week 16.

Marcus Mariota, TEN, QB: Less than 5% Owned

Waiver Wire Priority: Low
FAAB Budget Recommendation: 0%

Before you wonder why this is here, realize that Mariota could be allowed to walk to to the resurgence of Ryan Tannehill. Mariota is an UDFA after this season and there could be a few middling teams who will be in the market for forgotten guys like him to be a placeholder until 2021’s batch of QBs. This is a stash play for a QB who could end up starting elsewhere. You never know the scheme that can revitalize a career or change of scenery. If nothing comes of it, as with anybody anywhere, you can drop him.

Zay Jones, OAK, WR: Less than 5% Owned

Waiver Wire Priority: Low
FAAB Budget Recommendation: 0%

With Hunter Renfrow going down with a broken rib and a punctured lung, that leaves Zay Jones as the next man up. Renfrow was leading the receiver room in targets by a few over Tyrell Williams and second to Darren Waller. this now opens up about 5 targets a game to be dispersed. Building depth is important and Zay Jones could be just what the doctor ordered.
